Answers importers usually need first.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
For air-freight perishables (mangoes, okra, chilli), MOQ is typically 0.5 MT — enough to fill air pallet positions economically. For sea reefer lines (pomegranate, grapes, onion), we quote from 1 MT trial lots up to full 20ft/40ft container programs. Mixed-product consolidations can combine several lines in one shipment.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. In-season, we air-freight sample cartons (typically 5–10 kg per product) within 7 days. You pay freight only; the produce is on us for a first evaluation. Sample lots ship with the same documentation as commercial lots so your QA team can review the full paper set.
What payment terms do you work with?
Standard terms are 50% advance against proforma invoice and 50% against scanned shipping documents. For established buyers we work with irrevocable LC at sight. We hold a US entity, so US buyers can pay domestically in USD without international wire complexity.
What are typical lead times?
Air freight: 4–7 days from confirmed order to arrival (subject to uplift availability in mango season). Sea reefer: 7–10 days to load plus 28–32 days transit to the US East Coast. Seasonal programs are locked in before the season opens with committed weekly allocations.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
FOB (Indian port/airport), CFR/CIF to your destination port, and — for US buyers — landed DDP pricing through our US desk, including customs clearance and inland delivery. Tell us which basis you buy on and we quote accordingly.
How do you handle US import requirements for mangoes?
Indian mangoes enter the US under a USDA-approved irradiation protocol. We book the treatment, manage the USDA pre-clearance paperwork, and file FDA prior notice for every shipment. Your entry arrives with a complete, clearance-ready document set.
What documents accompany each shipment?
Commercial invoice, packing list, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, residue test report from a NABL-accredited lab, and the reefer temperature-logger record for sea shipments. LC-specific documents are prepared to the letter of your credit terms.
How is the cold chain maintained?
Produce is pre-cooled within hours of harvest, held at commodity-specific set points, and loaded into reefers with sealed data loggers. For air freight we use airport cold rooms and priority uplift. The temperature record is shared with your arrival documents.
What happens if there is a quality claim on arrival?
Notify us within 48 hours of container opening with photos and the independent survey report. Because we photograph and document pre-load QC on every lot, resolution is fast: verified claims are settled by credit note or replacement on the next shipment.
Can you pack under our private label?
Yes — buyer-branded cartons, punnets and bags are available from the second shipment onward, once artwork and carton specs are approved. MOQ for private-label packaging depends on the carton supplier, typically one full container or 3–5 MT air volume.
